Thank you for your inquiry about the Croatia cruise. Castaways’ James & Champagne (aka Jim & Donna) co-sponsored a previous summer charter in Croatia. About half the cruisers were Castaways Travel clients. The others were from the U.K. The chartering company in the U.K. is an associate member along with Castaways in a European-based trade organization, a group of travel companies specializing in clothing optional vacations and cruises for adults world-wide but primarily in Europe, the Med and Africa. Clients on board are international but most are from the U.K. so English is a common language among passengers and crew although this can vary.
Summary
The 2024 June and September cruises depart for a week from Split or Opatija, Croatia, respectfully. Total cabin count is 18 air conditioned units (36 passengers).
It’s a basic vessel with simple construction and plain cabins but it’s got all the basics. Breakfast and lunch are included. Dining in the evening is typically at the port of call for the day so you have a chance to tour the destination, sample the local night life, meet the friendly locals (below left) and discover shops and restaurants within walking distance from the ship. The crew was great (below right).

*Rates are per cabin for 1 or 2 persons. Rates are priced in British pounds sterling (GBP) and will vary against the U.S. Dollar. All payments are NOT refundable so consider optional travel medical and trip interruption insurance. Deposit is 50% upon booking. Final payment is due 14 weeks before the cruise. ALL payments subject to 100% cancellation penalty.
Flights to Croatia are plentiful with connections from all major European airports. Example: We connected outbound from the US non-stop to Frankfurt and changed planes to Split non-stop via Lufthansa both directions
