Curacao Nude Resort

Overview

Yes, we've been to the resort, stayed at other properties many times near this new resort, Scuba dived on spectacular reefs and caves and toured the island by rental car several times.  Diving is some of the best in the Caribbean, in our opinion.   The ocean is like swimming in gin-clear water without the alcohol kick.

This Curacao property is a modern, neat-as-a-pin nude resort developed and owned by a delightful Dutch couple Henny & Peter who lived all over the world following Peter's work in the construction industry. This is a nice step in their retirement plan but they're hardly relaxing while working full time managing their new venture.

Opened at the end of 2022 the property was designed by them and attracts adult singles and couples.

To describe the development as a nudist resort needs clarification. A more descriptive term might be nude apartment complex as a full-service restaurant, bar and night club are not included in the design.  But the fully equipped apartments are like being at a modern home ... all you provide is food and drink.

The cliffside location overlooks the southern Caribbean Sea and includes convenient steel steps leading down to a platform with ladder to enter the water for swimming, snorkeling or Scuba diving.   The facility also includes a wash basin to rinse your Scuba or snorkeling gear at the end of your dive.

Getting There

Fly into the Hato International Airport (Code CUR) from just about any major airport in the world including North and South America, Europe and Asia.   Many non-stop flights originate from major European gateways as well as North American international airports with major airline mon-stop service daily.  Charter flights are available on certain days of the week.  From some of the Aruba, Bonaire or Curacao islands, it's possible on certain clear days to see the peaks of some Venezuelan mountains about 37 miles from Curacao.

Distance from the Curacao airport is about 19 miles from the resort and takes 30-35 minutes by car on average depending upon traffic. See more at  Curacao Airport Partners  (curacao-airport.com)

Driving is on the right. The best way to see the island and beaches is via rental car. Roads and directions are excellent so it's hard to get lost.   Bus services also is also available along the main roads.

Impressions

Think of this location as your home away from home where you will need nothing in an apartment where nudity is fully expected but not required.

Sight Seeing

We've visited Curacao many times as Castaways sponsored nude groups to visit a resort nearby and converted the property to a nudist resort for the week.

Besides beach action and dine-around adventures, there's sight-seeing as well as casinos in Willemstad the capital.    We've visited all 3 A-B-C islands several times including Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao.  We've found Curacao to be a fun mix of Aruba (with its choices of resorts and casinos) and Bonaire (which certainly the most laid-back of the three islands).  Curacao fits nicely in between and boasts the most interesting waterfront you'd swear is a piece of Amsterdam picked up and duplicated in Willemstad.   Other diversions to choose from include:
