Getting There
A valid passport (good for 6 mon6s beyond your stay) is required to enter Antigua. Check the expiration date of yours. Visas may be required depending on your country of citizenship. Check Antigua Visa Requirements for your country.
Built on a beautiful set of beaches and bay facing the southwestern Caribbean, this tropical resort is near town. The town center of the capital, St Johns, is about 10-15 minutes from the resort. Town has its share of restaurants, shops, and bars along the waterfront, a cool place to hang out.
Travelers fly into V.C. Bird Airport (ANU). Take a shuttle, taxi, or Uber/Lyft to the resort.
V.C. Bird International Airport is about 5 miles east of St. John's, Antigua's capital city which is about 10-15 minutes from Hawksbill Beach Resort. Estimated transfer time from the airport to the resort, is 30+ minutes, or 10 miles if you avoid the town and depending upon the traffic on the two-lane roads.
Take your pick of flights that service Antigua as your final destination since it’s the primary closest international airport in the region. Shuttle and taxi transfer services are available at the airport.
Air Options: American Airlines, Delta, United, Jet Blue, Southwest, Spirit, and more; Thompson, Martin, and Condor others from Europe plus many scheduled European air carriers service Antigua. Ambiance
You will find that living is easy on Antigua. To visit any of the activity areas and restaurant on-site, there's no need to get dressed up unless you're willing to or your spouse insists. No coats or ties are required. A jacket for the guys plus long pants might be a nice touch but it's not expected. You're in a tropical setting so relax.
Vacations include daily activities and light entertainment as well as non-motorized water sports.

Sightseeing
Nelson’s Dockyard – Visit Antigua & BarbudaThere are many sights to see locally other than beaches, sparkling Caribbean sea, and beautiful coral cliffs. The locals are fun to kid with but be ready to bargain if you find that certain something that catches your eye.
Hosted tours can be arranged at the resort’s Tour Desk. Take cash with you for craft markets and street vendors in town. Most vendors cannot process credit cards. At least 30-40 off-site tours are available from the tour desk. Sunday's at Shirley Heights is always a party in the evening. Bring cash for drinks and food if you go. The spectacular site overlooking Nelson's Dockyard at English Harbor.
TIP: Arrange transportation in advance for round trip service. You may not remember the way if you've really enjoyed rum punch.

Superior Seaview rooms are located in two 2-story buildings in the middle of the grounds with views across the gardens, swimming pool, and across to Seagrape Beach beyond. The detached main reception, restaurant, and bar are located at the northern end of the buildings.
Superior sea view bungalows are located directly adjacent to Seagrape Beach between Seagrape Restaurant and Honeymoon Cove. The main reception, restaurant, and bar are located in a detached area approximately 500m to the north.

↑↑↑ The resort is very near St. John's, Antigua's capital so you're close to nightlife, restaurants, shopping, and the dynamic harbor and waterfront.
↑↑↑ There's a lot to do in Antigua so plan your stay accordingly if you want to take in sightseeing, tours, diving or excursions.
↔ Hawksbill Beach is not Hedonism so don't go expecting all-night parties or raucous music, theme nights, tequila shooters, and dancing on the tables!
↑↑↑ Ferries service nearby Barbuda, part of the same sovereign nation as Antigua. Barbuda is 90 minutes by ferry, great for a day tour.
↔ Hawksbill Beach is pretty quiet at times and somewhat laid back so it has that attraction if you want a relaxing getaway.
↑↑↑ The citizens are wonderful folks.
↑↑↑ Antigua, although used to all the modern conveniences, has a flavor of its English influence, perhaps more so than Jamaica.
↔ Be prepared for a little rain occasionally so take an umbrella or poncho with you. We list this as both an upper and downer because one of the standard procedures is to hit the bar if it does rain with a drink in hand. Most of the time those showers pass quickly... just enough time to retire to your room for a little "private" time.

Adults 21 and over are welcome. You will find all ages of adults therefrom '20s to '70s.
Best Time To Go
Fall, winter, and early spring can be less humid than late summer. Summertime through the fall months can be a bit more humid, with rain showers possible, actually year-round….it’s called the tropics for a good reason. Late August through early October can include unpredictable weather. Room rates are generally higher from about Christmas to the end of April, with holiday rates higher than at any time during the year. Late summer and fall may be the least expensive.
Rules
Wear clothing around the resort but let it all hang out on Eden Beach. Tasteful tropical styles are welcome at the restaurant so don't dress down for dinner or show up wearing cut off jeans and thongs.
The resort is non-smoking.
