ETIQUETTE & PROCEDURES
What exactly does ‘Clothing-Optional’ mean?
If you choose to go topless or naked in the pool, you may certainly do so. Bliss guests are mature, sophisticated and non-judgmental; a “live and let live” philosophy is key to the enjoyment of a liberating vacation. There is never pressure for you, or any guest, to do anything you might find uncomfortable. Cover-ups, however, are required where food is served, interior of the ship and when the ship is in port at the pool area. All genitalia must be covered.
Is there an age restriction on the Bliss Cruise?
Yes, Bliss Cruise has a minimum age restriction of 21+ for all guests.
Can guests walk nude anywhere on the ship?
All genitalia must be covered where food is served, interior of the ship and when the ship is in port at the pool area.
Can I be naked in port?
That depends on the port. When other ships are docked nearby, guests must remain covered while on the pool deck and when walking through port areas. However, when Bliss Cruise is the only ship in port, nudity is permitted on designated pool decks and at select beaches in clothing-optional ports, such as Labadee, Haiti. Always check the daily program for specific guidelines during your sailing.
Are photographs allowed on the ship?
Yes, photographs are allowed in designated areas throughout the ship. However, privacy is paramount, please be mindful that no other guests appear in your photos without their consent. Photography is strictly prohibited in nude areas and playrooms.
Are Public Displays of Affection (PDAs) allowed in the public area?
X-rated PDAs are only allowed in the playrooms and your cabin.
Are there smoking and non-smoking areas on the ship?
Smoking is allowed in designated areas only.
What is the playroom etiquette?
Some playrooms on Bliss Cruise are couples-only, while others welcome unescorted women and men. Communication and mutual consent are essential in all areas. Bliss Cruise maintains a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental environment where comfort and boundaries are always honored. There is a zero-tolerance policy for any form of disrespect or non-consensual behavior.
Can I bring my own liquor on the ship?
There are no hard liquor, beer, or other non-alcoholic beverages allowed onboard the ship. You may bring wine or champagne on boarding day and it is limited to two, 750ml bottles per stateroom and may be subjected to a corkage fee if consumed in the restaurants.
ONBOARD INFO
How many guests are allowed to share a cabin?
Most cabins accommodate up to two guests, though select rooms allow a maximum of three. Please check with your Castaways Travel agent for availability, room options, and any additional costs associated with triple occupancy.
How many male guests are allowed per cabin?
Rooms may not be booked with two or more single males (MM or MMM). However, a single male may share a cabin with a couple (MMF). Please note that certain areas, such as playrooms, may be off-limits to single males unless entering and exiting with a female companion.
Does Bliss allow single adults?
Bliss Cruise is chartered cruise designed primarily for couples in the lifestyle, those who are curious, or just enjoy the adults only atmosphere. We understand that some relationship dynamics include throuples. Single males or females may join a couple and are welcome to sail as part of that booking.
Onboard Bliss, a “couple” is defined as one male and one female—they do not need to be married. MMF and FFM arrangements are permitted, however, two males (MM or MMM) may not share a room.
Where are the playrooms located?
Playrooms are available throughout the ship and offer different experiences in various areas. They remain closed while the ship is in port. Check your daily program guide or the Bliss Cruise app for specific locations and operating times.
What if I have a disability or special needs?
Special needs guests are always welcome onboard Bliss Cruise. We will make sure all special needs are properly taken care of to ensure a pleasant experience on their adult vacation. If you require special needs assistance, please notify our Access Department in writing by fax to 954-628-9622 or email at special_needs@rccl.com.
Is trip protection available?
Castaways strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance to protect the value of your vacation. Unforeseen events such as flight delays or cancellations, medical issues, accidents, injury, death, family emergencies, job loss, or even illness before sailing can cause you to miss or cut short your cruise. Travel protection insurance can help cover these unexpected situations.
Coverage ranges from standard cancellation and medical protection to more flexible options, including “cancel for any reason” plans. Costs vary depending on your state of residence, date of birth, and level of coverage selected.
For U.S. residents, Castaways Travel offers policies through Allianz Insurance. If you live outside the U.S., please secure coverage locally. Do not take a chance on missing your well-earned vacation—travel insurance provides peace of mind when you need it most. Ask your Castaways Travel Advisor for a quote and an explanation of available plans or send us a email request for an insurance quote, or call (281) 465-4960.
Is wi-fi available on the ship?
Yes. There are 2 options available to stay connected while on the cruise ship for an additional charge. There is Wireless Internet Access (Wi-Fi) and Internet Café/Workstations.
How do I pay for purchases on board Bliss?
The cruise ship operates on a cashless basis and all purchases are charged to your Onboard Expense account tied to your room that you set up at the time of check in.
Travel Info
What documents do I need to sail?
We highly recommend that all guests travel with a valid U.S. Passport book. Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.
If you’re a U.S. citizen sailing on a closed-loop cruise (departing and returning to the same U.S. port), you may instead use an official government-issued Birth Certificate along with a government-issued photo ID that shows your name and date of birth. Both documents must match the name on your reservation.
Only birth certificates issued by a government agency (federal, state, county, or city) are accepted. “Birth notices” or “Certificates of Live Birth” from hospitals are not valid travel documents.
Non-U.S. citizens must have a valid passport and any required U.S. visas for entry.
Please note that no refunds will be issued to guests who fail to bring proper documentation.
Can I check in online?
Yes. To make the check-in process run more smoothly and you have all the required documents for traveling, we ask that you do so at least 72 hours before your sail time.
When can I board the ship?
You will be assigned a boarding time when you check in online. Please adhere to your boarding time and be on the ship no later than 2:30pm.
What should I do when I arrive at the port?
Make sure you complete your online check-in at least 72 hours before sailing and answer the required health questions within 24 hours of departure. When you arrive at the port, a porter will tag your luggage, and you’ll proceed to the check-in line with your SetSail Pass ready (found in the Royal Caribbean on Celebrity app respectively). The crew will verify your documents and take your photo (if not already uploaded in the app). Once that’s done, you’re all set to board and start your vacation!

What to pack?
As a Lifestyle-friendly, clothing-optional cruise you will still need some clothes to enjoy certain areas of the ship such as the promenade, restaurants, and gym. Here is a list of travel essentials:
1. Travel Essentials
- Passport? Maybe. Copy? Definitely. Since it’s a closed loop cruise, you don’t technically need a passport as a U.S. citizen, but always bring at least a copy of your birth certificate or passport just in case you’re the one who gets left behind at port.
Backup plan, folks!
- Magnetic Hooks & Stick-On Magnets: Since cabins are metal, these are great for for hanging towels & bags plus they’re perfect for door decorations
- Surge Protector (extra outlets): Avoid taking ones with an ON/OFF switch, the cruise line will confiscate it (they’ll give it back at the end)
- Toiletries Essentials: If your particular about products (ladies) Don’t forget shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, etc
- Robes: Perfect for those late-night strolls or quick trips to the playroom

- Flirty Outfits/Costumes – For themed parties, because Effort Is Sexy!
- Swimsuits: You will need these when we are in port—pack one in your carry-on so you’re ready for that first drink by the pool as soon as you board

- Extra Sunglasses & Hats: Because the sun will be shining… and so will you!

- Condoms: Pack extra—Latex and non-latex, all sizes

- Chargers: Don’t forget chargers for your phone, toys, and battery backups

- Portable Speaker: For in-room jams

- Download Music Playlists: You’ll need tunes in the room for those late-night games of naked twister
. Streaming is an option, but the Wi-Fi can be iffy, so have everything downloaded!
- Sunscreen & After-Sun Care: Ships have it, but pack your own to save some cash

- Motion Sickness Prevention: If you’ve never cruised or get seasick, talk to your doctor about meds like Promethazine or Transderm Scop (adhesive patches). For over-the-counter options, try Dramamine, Meclizine, or Sea-Bands. If sea sickness hits, the onboard doctor can help for a small fee

- Clorox Wipes: We wipe down our rooms as soon as we get in (thanks, norovirus from a vanilla cruise!). Seriously, better safe than sorry!
- Medications: Bring enough meds for extra days, just in case you get delayed or something unexpected happens. Don’t forget your hangover prevention aid (Zofran, Tylenol, ect.)

- Slut Cards: AKA couples cards. You’re going to want these to introduce yourself and make lasting connections. Don’t leave home without them!

- Body/Butt Wipes: A lifesaver for quick freshen-ups, but don’t flush them!

- Chair Clips: Keep your poolside towel in place and double these up for your cabin curtains during naps

- Yeti/Stanley/Koozies: For your drinks that need to stay cold all day long
