Following a delightful day at sea, we will dock at one of the most picturesque ports, renowned for its postcard-perfect medieval old town and dramatic coastal cliffs. Our next destination is a perennial favorite among Desire Cruisers: Dubrovnik, Croatia. This iconic city, embraced by the Adriatic Sea, offers more than just a stroll around its historic walls. Guests can take a cable car ride to the summit of Mt. Srđ, where they can marvel at the old town from 400 meters above.
We will visit Albania, stopping in Durres. Here, guests can explore captivating historical sites, including the ancient Amphitheatre and the Archaeological Museum.
After a day in Durres, we will whisk you away to the enchanting port city of Crotone in Calabria, Italy. A must-visit is the Isola di Capo Rizzuto, home to the Aragonese castle, ‘Castello di Le Castella.’ This magnificent fortress is surrounded by the sea on all sides, save for a narrow man-made pathway.
As our extraordinary journey draws to a close, guests will disembark in Valletta, Malta. This city demands a few days to fully appreciate its rich tapestry of art, architecture, and history.
