Resort Overview
Located in Negril, Jamaica, Hedonism II is an all-inclusive, adults-only playground where fun and freedom meet Caribbean sunshine. Originally built in the 1970s and fully renovated between 2016 and 2018, the resort offers 280 rooms in both Standard and Premium categories with garden or ocean views, many featuring private hot tubs.
Most of the property is clothing optional, with nudity required only at the nude pool, beach, and hot tub areas. The main clubhouse, restaurants, and public areas remain clothing-required, and for guests who prefer to stay covered, there’s also a “prude” side pool where swimwear is welcome. The nude beach at Hedonism II stretches over 1,000 feet of soft white sand, perfect for barefoot strolls. The entire beachfront is dedicated to nude and clothing-optional sunbathing, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind in true freedom.
The vibe ranges from mild to wild, welcoming singles, couples, and triples aged 21 and over. Days are filled with pool parties, beach fun, water sports, fitness, and scuba diving, while nights bring themed events, live entertainment, and lively clubs.
Dining includes three restaurants, beach grills, and buffets, all part of the all-inclusive meal and drink plan. Guests also enjoy a full-service spa, tennis, and offsite excursions.
Airport transfers from Montego Bay (MBJ) are complimentary for Castaways Travel guests staying four nights or more.

What entry documents do I need to enter Jamaica?
For U.S., Canadian, U.K. and CARICOM citizens, a valid passport is the only documentation required. All other international guests may need a visa. Please consult with your travel professional, local Jamaican consulate, or Tourism Board. It is Mandatory for all visitors to complete the Online C5 Declaration Form prior to arrival in Jamaica.
What is the accepted form of currency?
The Jamaican dollar is the legal tender in Jamaica. However, most merchants will accept U.S dollars and major credit cards. Once you are at Hedonism II, almost everything is included in the price you pay. The resort is on a cashless system. Additions will be charged to your room and processed by credit card or cash upon check out.
How do I get from the airport to the resort?
Flying into Montego Bay Airport (MBJ)
- Shuttle: If you book four or more nights with Castaways Travel, we’ll include complimentary airport transfers to and from the hotel. The drive typically takes about 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes, depending on traffic
- Taxi: Hire a private taxi from MBJ to Negril (~$80–100 USD) visit Holiday Services.
- Air Taxi: Small aircraft that carries 5 passengers, typically takes 30 minutes. ($150-$200 per person/direction) visit TimAir
NOTE: Airport transfers are not provided from Kingston; you have to make your way via taxi….and the trip can be expensive and long.

Is a deposit required at check-in?
A refundable deposit of $250 USD is required at check-in to cover any incidental charges or room damages. Please be advised that your card is NOT charged at check-in, but a hold is placed. Usually, a hold will be released within 24 – 48 hours of checking out. In some cases it can take 7 – 10 working days to reflect in your account.

While resort guests are predominately couples, Hedonism II exists for guests to pursue pleasure whether they are a couple or a single person. Single occupancy rates are available and will be 150% of the per person nightly rate.
Where is the Playroom located?
Entrance to The Playroom is located beyond the Courtyard, opposite the tennis court. Playroom guests are expected to respect the personal space of others and “play” only if invited to do so. Open 10:00 pm – 3:00 am
There is also a small “Happening Hut” near the nude pool, unmanned and open 24 hours

How many pools are at Hedonism II?
The resort boasts a total of six inviting pools, including the clothing optional Main Pool, a clothing-optional pool with a swim-up bar, three clothing-optional plunge pools, and a nude pool also equipped with a swim-up bar, alongside two relaxing hot tubs, one clothing-optional and one nude.
Is the resort handicap accessible?
Many public facilities of the resort are situated on a bluff that requires guests to manage steps and some small slopes. There are no elevators on property. Further, due to daily arrivals and departures, Hedo is unable to confirm any specific room, floor or building. Rooms are not handicap friendly as well. For these reasons Hedonism II and Castaways Travel will not be held liable for any issues resulting from lack of mobility or any disability.
Is trip protection available?
Castaways strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance to protect the value of your vacation. Unforeseen events such as flight delays or cancellations, medical issues, accidents, injury, death, family emergencies, job loss, or even illness before sailing can cause you to miss or cut short your cruise. What exactly does ‘Clothing-Optional’ mean?
If you choose to go topless or naked in the pool or at the beach on the clothing-optional side, you may certainly do so. That said, once you are on the nude side – whether beach or pool – you are required to be nude. Hedo guests are mature, sophisticated and non-judgmental; a “live and let live” philosophy is key to the enjoyment of a liberating vacation. There is never pressure for you, or any guest, to do anything you might find uncomfortable. Cover-ups, however, are required where food is served, in the lobby and certain other public areas. All genitalia must be covered in Restaurants and public spaces, such as the lobby, gift shop wine bar, etc. And although guests are expected to be fully dressed in the nightclub, this does not mean that they cannot wear revealing outfits. On the contrary, Hedo is very open to SEXY.
Is tipping allowed at the resort?
Hedonism II has a NO tipping policy because they believe that this is essential to a carefree, all-inclusive resort experience. This is one of the core policies and they do their best to control this at the resort.
Three good reasons why Hedonism II use a NO tipping policy:
- A portion of the room rate you pay includes a gratuity for all the staff members who assure that your stay with us is wonderful every time.
- They want to award the staff members equally, including both those who are in front of the guests and others who may work behind the scenes. All of the staff put in hard work and Hedo wants to ensure they are all rewarded equally.
- Most of all, Hedo has created a legendary experience where no guest should feel as though they are required to spend more money in order to receive good service. This way, all guests have the same opportunity to be served equally. They wish for all guests to be treated with the same high standard of service at Hedonism II.
If no cash tip, what’s the best way to recognize great service?
The best ‘tip’ a guest can give a staff member is a fantastic review upon departure and on TripAdvisor. Staff members who are mentioned on comment cards are included in a weekly comment report summary, which is received by all managers who are then prompted to share with the staff on property.
The No Tipping policy applies to tips given to individuals. However, if you must tip, there is a Tipping box provided at the Front desk to be equally shared among ALL Non-Managerial team members.
Why they do This? They do this because we want to be fair to all staff, including the ones you don’t see.
Is there an age restriction at the resort?
Yes, Hedonism II has a minimum age restriction of 18+ for guests staying at the resort, and 18 year minimum is required to purchase a guest pass.
What about discrimination?
Hedonism II does not discriminate based upon race, nationality, gender, marital status or sexual orientation.
Can guests walk nude anywhere on the resort?
Please wear cover-ups in all restaurants, the gym, tennis court, Lifestyle Boutique, Wine Bar, Espresso Bar, Lobby and offices areas.
Are photographs allowed at the resort?
The safety and privacy of all the guests and staff are paramount. The following are strictly prohibited: making videos and taking photos of nightly entertainment and shows; unsolicited video and photographing – to include hidden cameras, the use of cameras and/or cell phones on the nude beach, nude pool and playrooms.. Are smart glasses or smart eyewear allowed at the resort?
No. In accordance with Hedonisms strict no-recording policy, smart eyewear that includes cameras or has the ability to record video or take photos is strictly prohibited on resort grounds. This includes all smart glasses, regardless of whether or not you intend to use them for recording. This rule is in place to protect the privacy, comfort, and consent of all guests. Failure to comply may result in confiscation or removal from the property.
Are Public Displays of Affection (PDAs) allowed in the public area?
PDAs are only allowed in the Playroom, Nude Pool, and Hot Tub.
Are there smoking and non-smoking areas in the hotel?
All rooms, restaurants, piano bar, wine bar, spa, gym, playroom and nightclub are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed in designated areas only.
What is The Playroom etiquette?
Hedonism II allows you to explore and rediscover yourself in a safe and non-judgmental environment. The playroom is open to couples, single women and invited single men. Communication and consent are the pillars of this paradise. Hedo takes pride in fostering a safe and respectful environment where comfort, consent and respect is a priority. What drinks are included?
Hedonism II is an all-inclusive resort that includes Red Stripe beer on tap and unlimited premium brand cocktails at no additional cost, 24-hours a day. House wines and champagne are also available. Also have a wine bar where premium wines may be purchased by the bottle.
Are there vegan or gluten free options?
The resort offers delicious vegan and gluten-free meal options. Just let them know your dietary needs and they will do thier best to accommodate them.
Is nude or topless dining allowed?
For Safety and Hygiene reasons, proper clothing is required in all restaurants. Proper is defined as covering genitalia, posteriors and chests.
Does the resort offer golf?
Golf is available at a beautiful course nearby, for an additional charge. You can also rent clubs, if you decide not to bring your own. The Hedo concierge team is delighted to offer personalized assistance in setting up your tee times.

Can I bring my own bottle of alcohol to the resort?
You’re welcome to bring your favorite bottle with you. Just note there’s a $40 USD corkage fee per bottle if you’d like to enjoy it at Harry’s Wine Bar. This helps us maintain premium service across the resort while still letting you sip your signature spirit in style.

We offer a flexible transfer option. You may move your booking to another lifestyle or vanilla vacation package booked through Castaways, subject to availability and supplier rules.
One transfer per booking. Names on the booking must remain the same. Name changes follow the supplier rules and fees.
Any fare difference, taxes, and fees for the new trip are the guest’s responsibility. Promotional pricing, onboard credits, and perks may not carry over.
