Is this cruise ship a full takeover?
Yes. Castaways Travel partners with LLV to charter the entire Scenic Diamond for a couples-only lifestyle/swinger-oriented cruise for the full sailing.
What hotel is the host hotel for the cruise?
A dedicated host hotel will be announced soon. Guests who book the host hotel can purchase transfers to the ship.
Which airport should I arrive at?
Bordeaux Mérignac Airport, BOD, the main airport for Bordeaux and the closest to the pier.
Will there be transportation to the ship?
Yes, motor coach transfers are offered from the host hotel to the ship for an additional cost. Transfers are not included in the hotel rate.
Is this a couples-only cruise?
Yes. This is a couples cruise. A limited number of cabins allow a single female to share with a couple, subject to availability.
What documents do I need to travel?
All guests must travel with a valid passport. We recommend six months of validity beyond the end of the cruise. United States permanent residents should carry their Permanent Resident Card. Names on airline and cruise reservations must match travel documents.
Is this a clothing-optional or public-play cruise?
Yes. LLV will designate playrooms for consensual adult activity. Sexual activity is not allowed in other public spaces.
What is the age group onboard?
Most guests are in their mid-30s to early 60s, though all adventurous, respectful couples are welcome.
Do we need to be married?
No. Guests must be 21 or older and traveling as a couple. All guests agree to our Rules and Conduct policy.
Are there any rules we should know?
Absolutely. The golden rule applies: No means No. Respect is the foundation of every LLV and Castaways Travel event.
What ship will we sail on?
Scenic Diamond, a luxury river ship fully chartered for this event.
Does the cruise line know what kind of charter this is?
Yes. Scenic works directly with Castaways Travel and LLV and supports our lifestyle programming.
When should I book?
Book early to secure your preferred suite category. Popular categories sell out fast on lifestyle swinger cruises for couples.
What is included in the cost?
Your fare includes your suite on Scenic Diamond, river transportation, all meals, a wide selection of beverages, most onboard entertainment, LLV theme nights, and some shore excursions. Airfare, airport transfers, premium labels, spa, specialty services, and personal purchases are extra.
Port charges, taxes, prepaid gratuities, documents, administration, and security fees are collected in advance. Gratuities for dining and housekeeping are prepaid. Gratuities for bar drinks, spa services, and other optional items are charged as used. You may tip extra for exceptional service.
What if I need to cancel?
Standard Castaways Travel cancellation terms apply for this charter. Ask your advisor for current dates and penalties. Travel insurance is strongly recommended for swinger cruises and couples cruises.
Is airfare included?
No. Air is separate. Castaways Travel can assist with flights and pre or post hotel nights. Guests are responsible for transportation from the airport unless a transfer is purchased.
Do I have a choice of cabins?
Yes. Cabins are first come, first served. Your Castaways Travel advisor can help select the best location for your style.
When will I receive my cruise documents?
An invoice is sent immediately upon booking. Final boarding and travel documents will be delivered online closer to your departure date.
Do I need cash onboard?
No, your key card is used for all onboard charges. Settle your account at the end of the cruise by credit card or cash at reception.
Are there handicap accessible cabins available?
Yes, in limited numbers. Contact Castaways Travel early so we can match your needs.
Are shore excursions available?
Yes. Scenic includes a selection of tours and LLV will offer special experiences. You can prebook or book on board, based on availability.
Can we bring a third person?
A limited number of single ladies will be approved to share a cabin with a couple. Please contact Castaways Travel to inquire.
Will my cell phone and internet work onboard?
Most major carriers offer service. Check roaming packages and shipboard rates with your provider.
Are passports required?
Yes, all guests need a valid passport. Verify expiration dates now and allow time for renewals.

Payment Terms
We offer flexible payment options; you can divide your total into multiple payments and space them out according to your preference before final delivery.
Transfer Policy
We offer a flexible transfer option. You may move your booking to another lifestyle or vanilla vacation package booked through Castaways, subject to availability and supplier rules.
One transfer per booking. Names on the booking must remain the same. Name changes follow the supplier rules and fees.
Any fare difference, taxes, and fees for the new trip are the guest’s responsibility. Promotional pricing, onboard credits, and perks may not carry over.
Requests must be submitted in writing to your travel agent or to our reservations email before the final cancellation window for your sailing. After the final window, transfers are not guaranteed and may be treated as a cancellation.
Travel insurance, air, hotel, and third-party products follow the provider rules and may incur their own change fees.
