Yes, this is a complete ship takeover. The MS Farah is exclusively reserved for our guests, creating a private, immersive environment for couples and select single ladies.
What hotel is the host hotel for the cruise?
Your journey includes a 3-night pre-cruise stay at the Fairmont Giza, offering breathtaking pyramid views, and a 2-night post-cruise stay at the Waldorf Astoria in Cairo’s elegant Heliopolis district.
Which airport should I arrive at?
Cairo International Airport (CAI)
Will there be transportation to the ship?
Yes, transportation will be provided from the host hotel to the ship. Costs will be announced closer to departure and are not included in the hotel rate.
Is this a couples-only cruise?
Yes, this experience is designed for couples, but a limited number of single ladies may share a cabin with a couple. All guests must be 21+ and agree to the LLV Rules and Conduct policy.
What documents do I need to travel?
A valid passport is required for all travelers, with at least six months of validity beyond your return date.
U.S. citizens need a tourist visa to enter Egypt, available on arrival or online via Egypt’s official e-visa portal.

No. Guests are responsible for their own airfare to Cairo, Egypt. Castaways Travel can assist with flight coordination and early arrival recommendations.
Do I have a choice of cabins?

When will I receive my cruise documents?
An invoice is sent immediately upon booking. Final boarding and travel documents will be delivered online closer to your departure date.
Do I need cash onboard?
Not necessarily. All onboard purchases are linked to your “Pass Card.” You can settle your account at the end of the cruise via credit card or cash at reception.
Are there handicap accessible cabins available?

Are shore excursions available?

We offer flexible payment options; you can divide your total into multiple payments and space them out according to your preference before final delivery.
Transfer Policy
We offer a flexible transfer option. You may move your booking to another lifestyle or a vanilla vacation package booked through Castaways, subject to availability and supplier rules.
One transfer per booking. Names on the booking must remain the same. Name changes follow the supplier rules and fees.
Any fare difference, taxes, and fees for the new trip are the guest’s responsibility. Promotional pricing, onboard credits, and perks may not carry over.
Requests must be submitted in writing to your travel agent or to our reservations email before the final cancellation window for your sailing. After the final window, transfers are not guaranteed and may be treated as a cancellation.
Travel insurance, air, hotel, and third-party products follow the provider rules and may incur their own change fees.
