Cruise Summary and Theme Nights

Cruise five-night charter from Miami is for couples who may have limited time and appreciate a value-based, fun-packed event with other like-minded adult couples. A frequent complaint: Couples tell us “We didn’t have time to do all the things or attend all the events we wanted to.”

Departure is from the Port of Miami so plan to spend some extra time in town enjoying all that the city can offer.   Our adventure at sea leaves Miami bound for Ocho Rios, Jamaica, and Georgetown, Grand Cayman.  At both ports of call, select from many shoreside events, water sports, diving, snorkeling, and partying clothing optional on a private catamaran especially arranged for you, designed to meet other couples and enjoy an all-over tan. You can also choose playtime back on board, enjoy specialty themes, and great excuses to attend Meet & Greets as well as fun workshops for adults only.  It’s fun on the sea with no stop signs.

Your five nights and days will be action-packed with fun and educational events during the day, delicious cuisine, and theme nights plus late-night mischief that will keep you awake to rock and roll.
Take your pick from parties, receptions, Meet and Greets as well as dining together to meet new couples. Live music, as well as DJs, will set the pace so you’ll be dropping into bed, totally spent from all the action.  Too busy for you?  Don’t worry, you can set your own pace for fun and games.  No one is grading you so prepare to let loose and have a blast.

Theme Nights:

MONDAY
Daisy Dukes and Cowboy Boots – WANTED…all cowboys and cowgirls. Saddle up and put on your best boots and daisy dukes for a hootin’ and hollerin’ night.

TUESDAY
Medieval Formal Night – Hear ye! Hear ye! Calling all Kings, Queens, Knights and Nobles. Put away the traditional tuxedo and ball gown because we’re going back in time to the Renaissance for our Medieval Formal Night.

WEDNESDAY
Galactic Glow Night – Bliss is calling on all Space Cadets, Aliens, Trekkies, Wookiees, Storm Troopers, Klingons, Romulans, Jedi Knights and any other galactic personality, to come in your brightest glowing to show all of us earthlings how much you stand out at the Bliss Cruise Galactic Glow Party!

THURSDAY
Freaky Fetish – What’s your safe word? Enter the world of sexual fetishes and BDSM. Show off your kinky side and explore your freaky fantasies.

FRIDAY
Psychedelic Tie Dye – Tonight will be a kaleidoscope of bright, bold and psychedelic color. Let’s party our last night away in a fashion trend that represents the free-spirited individuals that we are.
*The order of the themes is subject to change.

Shore Excursions:   These will be available for sale several months before the sailing date so check this site in upcoming months.

Pre-Cruise Hotel:  Expect more news here in 2022 including Castaways’ Hotel Room Block and Meet & Greet reception the night before you sail to get acquainted.

Exciting news:  For the Bliss nude cruise charter in April 2023, every cabin on the Summit has been upgraded and remodeled as well as new boutiques, more dining choices, entertainment venues, lounges, and more. The Retreat Lounge (below right)  and Retreat Sun Deck (below left) have been built for our Suite class couples.

You can expect the best in lifestyle entertainment:  The top DJs in the USA, live performances by side-splitting adult-themed comedians, Broadway, and contemporary shows, and live music throughout the ship.  These venues are strategically customized for you to meet other couples in “Playshops” like Tantra and adult seminars, massage classes, events at the pools, and topside with private venues for adult couples’ fun.   These surprising venues exude the sexy environment you’ve come to expect from a Bliss Cruise.

Images here are Cellar Masters wine bar, Retreat Club, the big pool, and  Revelation Lounge, plus Sundeck aft for “adult diversions” and couples fun.

Airports serving the area are Ft Lauderdale to the north and Miami International west of the city, both about 20-25 minutes from the Port of Miami.  A drive from the Ft. Lauderdale airport is usually less than 45 minutes, depending upon the traffic on the freeway I-95.  Castaways features optional hotel stays in Miami.

Here are some really good reasons to sign up and ship out on the Bliss Cruise Celebrity Summit.

  • For first-timers and those with the top3 burning questions:  The answer to all 3 is NO!
  • Question # 1:  Will I be expected to be nude?    NO!
  •  Question # 2:  Will I be expected to join in any lifestyle activities with other couples?      NO!
  • Question # 3   Do I have to dress up or wear a cocktail dress or a tux on a formal night?    The most emphatic answer is:  NO, and no means NO.   Don’t worry, no one will be offended and no one is there grading your performance.  You’re there to have fun at your own pace, at whatever level you and your partner choose.
  • Our staff and owners will be on board with you and we’re always available to you.
  • Special newcomer orientation the first day so you can get your questions answered by speakers plus Castaways and Bliss owners and host couples.
  • Couples Only… Adults only 21 and over.  Did we mention?  It’s “kid-free”
  • It’s your option to wear a swimsuit, or bottoms only or takes it all off, anywhere around the pool, hot tubs, sun deck or exterior lounges, bars and grills.  Some type of cover-up or clothing for interior parts of the ship and while docked or at anchor.
  • Adventures at ports of call for clothing optional fun.
  • Receptions and other excuses to schmooze with other couples at Meet & Greets for newcomers as well as repeaters.
  • Workshops and presentations from professionals and medical experts about lifestyle topics, health, and plenty of Q & A opportunities to ask those burning questions in the back of your mind.
  • Private meet-up areas specifically set aside to share adult pleasure with other consenting couples, but only if you choose to.  It’s “your pleasure, your way.”
  • Live music, DJs at the pool daily, and theme parties nightly plus performers entertaining cruisers throughout the ship.
  • Get in the vibe:  Bring some fancy or fun costumes and sexy clothing to spice up the evening’s themes.  See and be seen….you ARE part of the SCENE, so paste on your party face and get ready to rock.   But you are NOT expected to participate if you choose not to.

Check out our Photo Album from recent Bliss Cruises to get an idea about the luxury cruise ships chartered by Bliss, the great guests who cruise with Bliss, and samples of adult mischief, themes, and ambiance you’ll enjoy on each charter.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Ocho Rios or “Ochie” by the locals (Spanish for “Eight Rivers”) is grown up now and considered a real town, seaport, and resort center on Jamaica’s north coast in St Ann parish.  It’s one of the most beautiful areas on the island with tropical rain forests, rushing rivers of clear pure water, lagoon pools, and waterfalls.

We’ve been there for many, many visits and enjoy the ability to walk everywhere as the town center is compact and directions are easy to come by.  A big plus is Ochie’s access to Kingston, the capital, now that a tollway has been built connecting the cities for trips less than an hour.

Starting as a small fishing outpost, the area has experienced phenomenal growth in recent years, morphing into a tourism hub that rivals Montego Bay or Negril to the west.  Tourists enjoy shopping duty-free near the port as well as a crafts market where you can meet the locals who are great fun, an expanded cruise ship port, world-famous tourist diversions, beautiful beaches, and numerous resort and hotel choices.  Although the town’s population is almost 20,000, the surrounding area seems larger.

Tourist attractions include Dunn’s River Falls, a dolphin discovery complex offering tours and shows, a mountainside retreat featuring numerous diversions including a one-of-kind downhill roller coaster ride in single cars shaped and decorated like a Jamaican bobsled, inspired by the 1993 movie starring John Candy “Cool Runnings” which became a huge hit.

Another diversion to include is tubing down the crystal clear White River that’s so much fun.  No experience necessary as long as you know where to park your butt in an inner tub.  No worries, no rapids to contend with.  Day trips to the Blue Mountains, home of the famous coffee known worldwide, is a real change of pace,  visits to a butterfly sanctuary for endangered species or brave downhill bicycle tours for a blast, too, will fill your day.

Not far from town is the Ian Fleming International Airport to the east, near Goldeneye, the author’s home where he penned James Bond novels located near Oracabessa Bay and the small airport which carries his name.

Georgetown, Grand Cayman

Georgetown, the largest city in the Cayman Islands is also its capital. Water sports and anything related to the Caribbean sea drives the tourism component on the island. The other part of its worldwide notoriety is its reputation as one of the world’s top international financial centers, a magnet for banks and anything tax-related. Known for its mild climate, gin-clear water, and its award-winning coral reefs, Georgetown also boasts numerous luxury shopping centers and world-class jewelry shops. The island’s location and excellent recreational infrastructure boast numerous hotels and resorts that cater to the beach and boating segments above the water as well as spectacular diving, snorkeling, and swimming below the waterline. The stability of the country, its British heritage, and the excellent business climate attract many foreigners to invest in numerous condo projects throughout the island.

The city has a population of 40,000 people, making it the most populous center in the Grand Caymans. Georgetown is most diverse, with more than half of residents being immigrants. Most residents live in the neighborhoods located mostly in the suburbs on the west, outside of Georgetown, but you can always find a local to help you find the best Caymanian cuisine or with directions…you can’t get lost!

We’ve visited the Caymans for years for Scuba and can promise you there are so many excellent dive sites throughout the islands, you would be challenged to experience all of them.  A fun tip: Arrange one of the dive trips to include wreck diving, a cool excuse to take some spectacular underwater photos to impress your friends back home.

One of the most fun excursions is a visit to Stingray City where you can feed these gentle,  harmless creatures by hand. The boat trip is short and you can enjoy this attraction in waist-deep water. No snorkeling or diving is required. It’s one of the top attractions on the island so sign up early for a seat so you don’t miss the boat!

In addition, a visit to the famous Cayman Turtle Center is a nice diversion not far from Georgetown. There, you can swim or snorkel in a lagoon filled with green sea turtles and vibrant species of fish.

A trip to Hell to get a postcard stamped a the post office is an interesting diversion. Sailing, boating, and anything nautical can be found above, on or below the ocean’s surface so sign up for the numerous excursions available on the Bliss cruise, but do it in advance since they tend to sell out early.

Cruise Details

For Millennium® Class vessels in the fleet, including the Summit, all of them are being transformed in Celebrity’s $500,000,000 upgrade and facelift called the Celebrity Revolution.  Enhancements include installing exclusive additions for suite guests including the Retreat lounge and Retreat Sundeck plus wall-to-wall new staterooms and suites to include new technology and designs throughout the Summit.

Besides guest rooms, public areas including lounges, bistros, bars, and restaurants are seeing re-designs and upgrades.  These include the main dining room as well as the Rendezvous Lounge, Sunset Bar aft, and the Oceanview Cafe.   For some breathing room outside, the Rooftop Terrace provides cruisers the Summit’s version of a drive-in movie, with bites, beer, and beverages your deck waiter can provide.  One of our all-time favorites on the Celebrity ships is the Tuscan Grill, an Italian version of a steak house with dry-aged beef and pasta fresh from the kitchen.   For a change of pace, discover a new winner to the restaurant scene at sea:  try Qsine®, a unique dining experience you will not forget.

Stay tuned for topless dining in one of the specialty restaurants.  Sign up early once it goes on sale….it’s typically a sell-out … and lots of fun for diners AND the wait staff.  You do NOT have to be topless to dine there at any time.    No question, our favorite watering hole and Castaways usual headquarters where you’ll find our staff… is the Martini Bar and Crush, an icy proposition with cold vodka just an order away.  It also is Castaways central where our staff will meet & greet you and help you sign up for the next Bliss adventure.

With AquaClass® staterooms, enjoy spa-class service and exclusive access to your own dining venue at Blu, home of the “clean cuisine” on the Summit.

Pre-Cruise Packages

We urge you to enjoy Florida before and after the cruise.  As long as you’ve made the trip, why not add on extra nights to extend your fun.  A bonus:  You have a cushion of time to count on in case of a trip interruption, flight changes, or weather delays.   You don’t want to miss the boat, do you?

Plus you’re invited to attend an optional Castaways Travel Meet & Greet reception usually the night before you board the ship the next day.  This is a great way to start your party early, meet new couples and see old friends. Castaways always have a room block at a hotel for pre-cruise accommodations….so just ask about the group rate.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.  Unforeseen situations can cause you to cancel the cruise, return home early or suffer emergency medical treatment in ports of call, onboard, or even in Miami before the ship sails.   Travel protection insurance provides optional coverage for unforeseen problems such as an unexpected financial change, loss of a job, family emergencies or scheduling conflict, a canceled flight, or a serious illness.  Some insurance plans may offer options to cancel for any reason.  Ask your Castaways travel advisor for these arrangements and explanations.

Reminder: This coverage is available for U.S. residents. Ask your Castaways Cruise Director for details.

Booking Considerations

Cabin Type

Do you prefer a cabin with or without a window? Cabins without a window are normally located on the inside corridor of the ship. There are also balcony rooms and suites. Balcony rooms come with an outside patio area where the scenery can be enjoyed without leaving quarters. Suites include a sleeping and dining area with additional amenities. ** If someone in your party is prone to seasickness, choose a cabin that is in a lower level and the middle of the ship.

Cabin Size

Having comfortable surroundings is important when going on a week-long cruise. Will you be spending a lot of time in the cabin? Do you want to wake up and drink coffee on the balcony? A small cabin with no window isn’t a good fit for claustrophobic passengers. Make sure to determine your needs ahead of time and book a cabin size accordingly.

Amenities

Cabins and suites offer a wide range of amenities from Concierge services, to menu upgrades and spa access, to wet bars and butlers in the suite class. Determine which perks will make your vacation complete before finalizing a cabin.
