Exotic Trip to Iceland

Few places in the world capture the traveler’s imagination such as the island nation of Iceland, located just south of the Arctic Circle.

While the secret of this UNESCO treasure is already starting to get out, you can finally combine an adventurous tour of this budding global hot spot with a passionate lifestyle vacation brought to you by Passion Suite Club!

Iceland has captured the imaginations of explorers and thrill-seekers since it was first discovered by Vikings from Scandinavia over a millennia ago.

From Viking explorers to Jules Verne, Iceland has featured prominently in our global imagination as a land of magical beauty, natural wonder, and mysterious contradictions such as volcanoes and glaciers in the same spot!

Often called the land of Fire and Ice, this island nation three hours north of the United Kingdom is home to some of the most fascinating geological and biological diversity in the world.

From the original Geysir and its accompanying geothermal hot pots to the thunderous roar of the Gullfoss waterfall, to Thingvellir National Park-the place where the continents meet along the Tectonic Plates and ancient Icelanders met for centuries in their original Parliament-Western Iceland’s Golden Circle is a sightseer’s dream come true.

With Passion Suite Club’s Northern Exposure: Iceland event, you can spend your days exploring the otherworldly countryside of Iceland – from volcanoes to glaciers to the lunar landscape of volcanic rock and black sand beaches.

And unlike the extremes of winter and summer, our early April week in Iceland features a solid fourteen hours of sunlight while still providing great opportunities to see the Northern Lights – the greatest show on Earth!

Discover Reykjavik, a city of over 100,000 residents that punches well above its weight as a growing center for art, music, design, food, and drink. With numerous boutiques, record shops, cafes, and live music venues, Reykjavik is joining the ranks of Amsterdam, Barcelona, Stockholm, Berlin, and others as a major European cultural center.

Whether you prefer to dance the Nordic night away or fill your cameras with shots of the myriad natural wonders of the country, Northern Exposure: Iceland is the only bucket list lifestyle vacation in 2017 where you will need snow pants, high heels, and a bathing suit!

Fly into Keflavik International Airport outside of Reykjavik (KEF).

Private airport pick up and drop off on April 5th, 2017 and April 10th, 2017 is provided.

DAYTIME ACTIVITIES

Our Northern Exposure: Iceland event is possibly the most diverse vacation you’ll ever take.

Fill your time with exciting day trips to notable spots like the Snaefellsnes Peninsula (where Jules Verne set his entry to the Center of the Earth), tour live volcanoes by helicopter, hike active glaciers, and spelunk ice caves.

Leave dry land for superb whale watching and Puffin bird watching tours. You can even fly to nearby Greenland for another bucket list day trip tour.

Muscles sore from too much adventure? Spend hours luxuriating in one of the many geothermal hot springs, the hub of social life in this Nordic country, including the best-known attraction of the country, the Blue Lagoon.

You may also relax at our private luxury lodge and enjoy an amazing array of food, drink, and passionate pursuits. With fourteen hours of sunlight per day in April, your Icelandic adventure is entirely what you make of it!

NIGHTTIME ACTIVITIES

Of course, you can expect to be impressed by unique private entertainment and lifestyle activities that are the hallmark of an adults-only Passion Suite Club vacation, with each night ending in after-parties in our luxurious hospitality suites.

Another night we will experience the pulsing heart of the Reykjavik nightlife scene, affectionately known as the “Ibiza of the North.”

Finally, expect to be astounded by the mysterious beauty of the Aurora Borealis – visible on clear nights from September through April. This natural phenomenon produced by solar activity streaming through the atmosphere along the Arctic is truly one of the top visual experiences in the world.

Furthermore, our luxury lodge features three world-class telescopes to view the heavens and on especially clear nights, guests may take advantage of an astronomy lesson provided by the president of the Icelandic Astronomical Society!

DINING

The culinary staff at our luxury lodge provides a sumptuous buffet breakfast each day, featuring local fruits, juices, breads, and local and international dishes.

Our group will dine together twice with a set menu of Icelandic favorites from land, sea, and air, as well as a sampling of local spirits, beer, and wine.

Additionally, one delicious lunch at our hotel’s elegant restaurant will be part of your package – prepare to be impressed with the depth and breadth of the local cuisine.

In addition to our group dining, you can spend your days exploring the culinary heights of Icelandic cuisine, including lamb with fresh herbs, local seafood like arctic char and Atlantic salmon, and exotic delicacies such as minke whale, puffin, and foal.
