Fantasy Resort and Spa:
We
regret to inform you that Fantasy Resort and Spa has been required to close its
doors, effective immediately (December 13th, 2012) due to labor issues with the
hotel employees.
At this time, we are unable to confirm a re-opening
date due to the fact that any negotiations will only take place following the
holidays and once the hotel can assess the extent of the time required in order
to effectively reestablish guest services and amenities.
Access to the
property will be restricted and no staff in attendance until further notice.
We apologize for this inconvenience and wish to express our
appreciation for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

Fantasy Resort and Spa is designed for adult couples only,
in an all-inclusive, clothing optional environment. Fantasy is located on 20
acres near Puerto Vallarta on the tropical Mexican Pacific, one of the most
incredible tourism regions in Mexico. The resort is adjacent to one of the
largest, most vibrant coastal regions in Mexico. Banderas Bay is home to two
marine reserves, many colorful Mexican villages and a host of activities on and
under the water.
Fantasy Resort is one of the most upscale properties
we've seen in the adult, clothing optional market. Its predecessor, Taheima
Wellness Resort earned the distinction as one of the top 3 resorts in Mexico on
Trip Advisor granting its “pedigree” to Fantasy which has been rated
as five star. The 2012 re-branding and reputation builds on this condominium
hotel's conversion to an adult property.
The two hotel residential
buildings contain 1, 2 and 3 bedroom, privately owned suites operated by the
Fantasy Resort management company. Thankfully, no vacation club or time-share
programs exist there. Fantasy is located inside a private estate area in
Paradise Village - Nuevo Vallarta, north of downtown and close to the airport.
It feels like you're in a country club atmosphere, upscale and private, but fun
at the same time.

contest for suite space hands down compared to the other two properties: The
standard 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath unit measures over 620 sq. ft. with some as big as
750 sq. ft. A big plus is there are 2 and 3 bedroom (penthouse) suites
available for groups of friends to enjoy while splitting the cost.
This
luscious resort is minutes away from the Puerto Vallarta airport in a private,
gated community featuring a championship golf course, a nearby marina, miles of
sandy beaches and offers two pools as well as several dining and cool bar
choices. Private plunge pools are available in all ground floor suites and the
resort has three Jacuzzi/hot tubs, with a fourth one in the planning stage.
There are also 4 miles of landscaped walking trails surrounding the exterior of
the resort property.
One of the activities building, The Yearning
Center, adjacent to the nude pool includes Club Fantasy, the disco/night club,
party room, function meeting rooms, a pool bar & Italian grill which joins
a man-made volleyball beach and private Jacuzzi area. The one missing item: no
ocean beach, although guests have complimentary access to two beautiful beach
clubs 5 minutes away where swimsuits are required. The water is pleasantly warm
and the extensive beach is ideal for long walks or a morning run.
One
bedroom suites have king-size beds, air conditioning and ceiling fans,
satellite TV, CD player, efficiency kitchens/fridge, a living room, direct dial
telephone, hairdryer, shower, balcony or patio overlooking the swimming pools
on one side and golf course views on the other side. The 2 and 3 bedroom suites
have both king size and queen size beds and 2 and 3 baths respectively. All
3-bedroom suites are two-story penthouses with sundeck and private Jacuzzis.
There is plenty of sunlight, giving each room a bright, airy feel. Electricity
is 110v, same as in the states and the water is pure to drink so leave your
bottled water at home but bring your curling iron. Ladies – you will find
the baths equipped with a lighted magnifying mirror.

Piece of cake...Fantasy Resort is about 15 minutes north
of Puerto Vallarta (PVR) International Airport. Puerto Vallarta is serviced by
numerous domestic and international airlines worldwide with many offering
non-stop service year-round, including flights from the east coast, Canada and
Central and South America.
Puerto Vallarta is a world-class destination
area and the number one city in Mexico for US and Canadian residents. It is
served by many airlines from North America, South America and Europe. Both
scheduled air carriers as well as charter flights fly to Puerto Vallarta with
frequent service from just about anywhere in the world. Taxis are available and
rental cars are plentiful at the airport. Airport transfers are abundant and
relatively inexpensive. Fantasy includes airport transfers in their room
package for an additional $30 per person round trip (subject to change without
notice). A shuttle from the airport is the cheapest way to reach the resort.
Taxis are plentiful, too, and a fast way to get to the resort without having to
wait for other travelers to load a shuttle bus. Castaways can also provide you
with a private limo to the resort to start your vacation in luxury and comfort

electric Pan–Asian contributions to mouthwatering ceviche at the pool and
snack bar, Fantasy’s tasty cuisine features flavors from around the world.
There are versatile dining options such as buffets, outside terraces
overlooking the lagoon, beautiful restaurants with a great views of the
interior of the resort and golf course or places to eat right in the midst of
all the poolside action.

Silhouette is the setting for an elegant
experience so resort attire is appropriate at all times with its sophisticated
atmosphere and continental cuisine outdoors on the terrace. It's a gourmet
French bistro with brasserie décor and a select a la carte menu created
chef Gerard Dupont. Silhouette is open on busy days for lunch and always for
dinner. Silhouette offers a memorable dining experience with a health conscious
menu for your pleasure.
Maria's Restaurant (casual and Mexican
dining)
This authentic Mexican dining venue features the casual dining
style of the colonial state of Puebla and occupancy for 40 guests inside with
terrace space for al fresco dining. Chef Sixto Velazco’s touch and his
team of Mexican and international chefs bring to life Mexican and ancient
traditional recipes that have made this cuisine so highly desired. Enjoy
traditional mole Poblano, gourmet meat cuts and fresh daily seafood, along with
hand made guacamole. Maria’s offers delicious menus and a la carte for
breakfast and lunch.
The Sunset Terrace located outside the
three main restaurants above is available for al fresco dining and private
receptions
Palapa Bar & Poolside Grill for outdoor daytime
and evening dining is located between the two infinity edge pools and offers an
Asian-fusion style menu with plenty of standard fare for hungry, fun loving

Players Italian Pizza and Pasta is located at the far
end of the resort in The Yearning Center building near the clothing optional
pool and beach Jacuzzi.
Agave Bar – Rock, Country and
Karaoke are the sounds of this delightful bar with killer views of the

Fantasy Resort and Spa features acres of tropical landscape
with several social gathering places So you won't see everyone at once, other
than maybe at the pool, entertainment areas, dining or the nightclub.
Common areas and entertainment venues anchor each end of the resort with the
two, 220-foot infinity pools between. In the main building, you will find the
reception and administrative offices, the Agave Bar & Rooftop Sky Lounge
& Jacuzzi, Internet cafe, Sunset Terrace Silhouette, Maria’s and
Chef’s Kitchen restaurants and a piano cocktail bar.
At the other
end of the resort nearest the nude pool is another large building (The Yearning
Center) that includes Volleyball Beach and Jacuzzi directly outside, Players
Italian Grill, Club Fantasy disco/nightclub and lounge, playrooms, an outdoor
reflecting pond with candle lit tables, a fire pit and function/meeting
rooms.
With group occupancy, critical mass generates its own energy in
addition to the planning of areas and activities on the part of the
resort.
